Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School organized Alumni meet on 11th February 2023. Dr. Sheetal Darekar welcomed all the alumni and the faculties and initiated the meeting by presenting the remarkable journey Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School has been made since its inception and also announced the recent achievements of Dr. D.Y. Patil B-school. Mr. Sankalp Dandawate encouraged all the alumni one by one to get their input. Ms. Kirttika Pradhan assured to assist the placement department and share his entrepreneurial journey with others and shared her experience with his current organization and advised to focus on learning beyond the classrooms and acquire hands- on experience. Mr. Vishwas Kothari assured his contribution in guiding the students by sharing experience, taking mock GD’s, and as guest sessions. Other Alumni also contributed to this connection by sharing their thoughts of contributing their viewpoints. They shared their experiences of working in different organizations and also spoke on how to maintain work-life balance. They assured active participation in such future events. Ms. Ishita Sil presented a vote of thanks to all the alumni, faculties, and staff.

Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School organized Alumni meet on 30th December 2021. Dr. Sheetal Darekar welcomed all the alumni and the faculties. Dr. Amol Gawande initiated the meeting by presenting the remarkable journey Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School has been made since its inception. Ms. Ishita Sil encouraged all the alumni one by one to get the inputs. Mr. Kedar Hubli assured to assist the placement department and share his entrepreneurial journey with others. Mr. Shubham Yadav shared his experience with his current organization and advised to focus on learning beyond the classrooms and acquire the hand on experience. Mr Shreyansh Jain assured his contribution in guiding the students by sharing experience, taking mock GD’s and as guest sessions. Other Alumni also contributed to this connection by sharing their thoughts of contributing their viewpoints. They shared their experiences of working in different organizations and also spoke on how to maintain work life balance. They assured active participation in such future events. Ms. Parminder Kaur presented a vote of thanks to all the alumni, faculties, and staff.

Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School organized a virtual Alumni Connect on 30th December 2020. Ms. Parminder Kaur welcomed all the alumni and the faculties. Dr. Vishal Wadajkar initiated the meeting by presenting the remarkable journey Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School has been made since its inception. Ms. Shilpa Wanjari encouraged all the alumni one by one to get the inputs. Mr. Dhaval Parikh said that as alumni, they will make sure to inform the placement department regarding the openings at their respective companies and this way contribute in placements of the institute. He also shared his corporate experience. Mr. Vinay Dadlani shared his marketing experience with his company and insisted that students should be encouraged to do more and more certifications. They should have hands-on skill and knowledge of all the specializations so that they can outperform in the organization. Mr. Deep Shankar Mitra promised that all of the alumni, whenever possible, will come to the campus to guide students by sharing experience, taking mock GD’s and as guest sessions. Other Alumni also contributed to this connection by sharing their thoughts of contributing their viewpoints. Dr. Sonali Saha presented a vote of thanks to all the alumni’s and faculties present.

The Alumni Meet started with welcome greetings by Director, faculties and Staff members. The hosts of the event, Prof. Vishal Wadajkar along with other faculties and Staff, individually interacted with and greeted all the alumni. To start the occasion on an auspicious note, Prof. Vishal Wadajkar proceeded to the dais for welcoming and addressing alumni for responding to the invitation from college and being present for the alumni meet despite their busy schedule. He then proceeded with presenting the college report highlighting the various milestones reached in the past year. Later, forum was set open for discussion of all successes and achievements of each alumnus. Finally, the time had come to hear from alumni. Few Alumni took up the dais to address the gathering by firstly thanking the management for inviting them. They expressed them happiness in meeting in person, their batch mates on the occasion all this meet when all of whom are well connected via WhatsApp and social media. They were very happy to note that the cultural fest, “PARAKRAM” which was first started during their batch still continues. A multimedia presentation, “Trip down memory lane…” followed which chronicled the journey of the alumni of DYPBS from 2017 to the present. It was put together by Ms. Shilpa Wanjari, Asst. Professor, DYPBS. Vintage photos were submitted by some of the Alumni and were collected from old newsletters in college. The Alumni were treated to an enticing rock DJ to enjoy over the dance floor which was later followed by dinner. Ms. Shilpa Wanjari, Asst. Prof., DYPBS proposed the vote of thanks. She thanked the Alumni for taking the time to come for the Alumni Meet who have made it a very special and memorable one. She thanked the various organizers of the event (teaching, nonteaching staff and the enthusiastic student volunteers) whose hard work and dedication made the event possible. She also thanked the management of DYPBS for the support and guidance which has made Alumni Meet 2019 a grand success.
